YEAR END FUNCTION :
The end of the year is approaching fast, and with that we look forward to our Annual Year End Christmas Function, to be held on the 28 th November at the club. A big plus is that we will be joined by 2 of the Sharks Rugby Players. We don’t have the names of these as yet, but I’m sure they will be great players, whoever they might be.
A separate invitation will go out next week for this event, however, in the meantime, herewith all the details:
While we are trying to keep costs down, in order to cover the expenses of the Year End Function, we need to charge a minimum of R175 per head. This would include a 3-course buffet meal, a free welcome drink, live band entertainment and dancing, as well as a personalised gift from the club to keep in your home.
We value your opinion, so if you feel that this price is too high, please let us know urgently.
Tickets will go on sale from tomorrow, it will be on a first-come-first served basis, so please book early. Cut off date for booking is 12 th November.
To book your ticket, please contact Hazel Jeffery on 082 441 5884 or e-mail hazel@itweb.co.za

Friday, 23 October – Social Evening/Quiz Night
We have decided to open the club for a social or quiz evening this Friday. We will determine whether or not to have a quiz depending on interest by members present.
Nevertheless, it should be a great evening for winding down after the Currie Cup.
The kitchen will be open for your food requirements and the bar for your liquid requirements. Children are welcome, they will be able to watch DVD’s or play in the hut, however, no child minders will be available, so all parents are encouraged to keep an eye on their own children on the night.
The club will be open from 17:00.
